My involvement on campus with student organizations includes Student Government Association, Chancellor’s Ambassadors, Block and Bridle, Ambassadors for Agriculture, Wool Judging Team and Alpha Lambda Delta Honor Society.
I am extremely passionate about fostering real change to feed a rapidly growing population. My proudest moment as a red raider was packaging over 30,000 meals with my peers for the Kids Against Hunger Service Project.
Following graduation, I hope to work for an animal health company or serve in a capacity to advocate for world hunger. During my free time, I embrace a touristy lifestyle with an extra shot of espresso.

Grace Zaruba My name is Grace Zaruba and I am a senior from Houston studying accounting! Throughout my time here at Texas Tech, I have been involved in Women’s Service Organization, the Accounting Leadership Council and now Mortar Board! Some of the proudest moments of my college career have been being on the President’s List every semester, being a royalty candidate for Tech Homecoming and being able to study abroad in Italy! After my senior year, I am continuing my education here at Tech as a graduate student in the Masters of Accounting program and will sit for (and hopefully pass!) the CPA exam once I graduate. I love being with friends who make life exciting, volunteering in local communities and loving on dogs. Wreck ‘em Tech!!

Max Zhelyeznyakov My name is Max Zhelyeznyakov, I'm originally from Ukraine, but I am currently studying physics at Lubbock. In college I've mainly been involved in the physics and research communities through the Society of Physics Students, Sigma Pi Sigma, and the Center for Integration of STEM Education and Research. The proudest moment of my college career has been working at the top research institution for combustion in the country – the Combustion Research Facility at Sandia National Laboratories. After college I plan to get a PhD in electrical engineering, and pursue research in applied and computational optics. My hobbies include programming and generally messing with computers, playing the guitar, and going to heavy metal concerts.
